Testimonials
I have been with the Christian Church of Santa Clara for 25 years. At Crossroads, I didn't feel like I was part of their church. They are a large congregation, and I felt lost in the crowd. Here, I feel comfortable and welcome.

I started going to this church because of my grandson being engaged to the pastor's daughter. I really felt at home with the church's family atmosphere, Pastor Chuck's preaching, and weekly Sunday Bible classes. I feel a need to keep closer to God on a regular basis.
(The monthly faith lunch helps, too.)

I came because of Alicia. I stay because God's Word is being preached. These people are my people in the Lord.

When my wife passed away in April 2023, she was into crafts. So, when the City of Santa Clara had their annual cleanup, I put most of those items on the curb. Jim came by and picked up a lot of items, since his church was having a yard sale. That's when I met Jim and started coming to this church.

This church was where my faith was built, supported, and my creativity encouraged. My talented mom directed countless children's musicals, while my incredible dad ran sound. They taught me how to not just go to church, but to serve -- to do more than take what I can get, but to give all I can.
I cannot express the joy and comfort the church gives me when I'm so far from home. I know I can call up Pastor Chuck anytime to check on my family. What other church is like that? This church is so much more than a 70-year-old building. It is a legacy of family, and of demonstrating God's love to each and every person who has walked -- and will walk -- through those doors.

When we first visited Christian Church of Santa Clara in December 1987, we weren’t sure if we were supposed to park in the dirt lot, so we parked around the corner. As we walked down the sidewalk, a young woman, Lydia, said hello. We walked and chatted together. As we turned onto the property, she exclaimed, 'You’re coming to church here? That’s wonderful!'
After the service, Marion gave us a welcoming hug. Ruth sent a friendly note, and Pastor Gene dropped by. We formally placed membership at the end of January 1988. After 38 years here, we can say that God has used this church to grow and mature us, and we hope we can help others also grow and mature.
